•  Seminar cum Discussion on the evaluation study of Coffee Project of ITDA, Visakhapatnam District, Andhra Pradesh

On the advice of the Principal Secretary, Tribal Welfare, the Indian Institute of Economics, Hyderabad organized a brief seminar-cum-discussion on The Evaluation Study of Coffee Project, ITDA, Paderu, Visakhapatnam District on 14-2-2008 at 3-00pm, in the J.S.K. Hall, Federation House, Red Hills, Hyderabad -500 004.

Sri G.K. Pillai IAS., Commerce Secretary, Ministry of Commerce, Government of India attended the seminar as a chief guest. Sri  V. Nagireddy, IAS., Principal Secretary, Tribal Welfare, Sri D. Kadmiel IAS., Director, Tribal Welfare, Managing Director, A.P Forest Development Corporation, Project Officer, ITDA, Paderu, Sri M. Ponnanna, Joint Director, Coffee Board (Ministry of Commerce), Participated in the discussions. Sri O.Sawaminathareddy, Chairman, Indian Institute of Economics, has welcomed the guests. Sri V.K. Srinivasan IAS (Rtd), Vice-Chairman, Indian Institute of Economics, Sri Seetharamaiah, Member, IIE were present in the discussion. Dr U.Subrahmanyam, Director, IIE has given a Power Point Presentation on the findings of Evaluation of Coffee Project.
